while we were in St. George for Craig's Home coming dad took our kids to my uncles house to ride his horses. Kolbie had no idea we were going but when he found out he was thrilled. My mom made sure I packed his cowboy out fit to wear too. Kolbie wanted to be apart of everything that grandpa did. Once we got him on the horse he didn't want to get off. He loved every minute of it. I even got on a horse and rode with Kolbie for awhile it was fun and brang back lots of memories of the times I spent riding with grandpa. : )

can you believe that Kamree is nine? It seems like yesterday we brought her home from the hospital. This year we had a family party which she really enjoyed. I took pictures but 95% of them are blurry so this is what you get a picture of her cake which is of course CHOCOLATE ....its her favorite. She got some new clothes. shoes, & a new pair of goggles!

As part of Kamree's birthday present from us we let her race in Moab at the last 4 corners race. She had a blast even though she was the slowest one out there....but this was also her 1st time racing some where other than the one time at bull hollow and only like the 4th time she had been on her motorcycle. She took 2nd in her class on Saturday and 1st in her class on Sunday. Here are a few pictures of her racing both days.

This year for Halloween we all dressed up! I was a crazy doctor, Kamree was a princess, Kenyon was a skeleton person, and Kolbie was a cowboy!

I don't know why because he hates clowns but Dennis' insisted that he had to have this mask for halloween. He scared a few people with it.

The kids had a blast at the carnival, trick or treating and they even went to a hunted house. The got enough sugar to last them at least a couple months, but I know it wont.

2011 soccer season

both Kamree and Kenyon played soccer this year even tho most of the games were in freezing cold weather. Kamree's scored 2 goals this year!!! her team won half and lost half. Her favorite position to play is goalie! Kenyon plays just to get exercise ( I think). He doesn't kick the ball much but he has a blast playing.

1st day of school

School is back in session!!! I feel like signing the hallelujah chorus.....but of couse the kids are not as excited as I am. Here are a few pictures I took of them before they left for school.

Kamree asked me to put curlers in her hair the night before and this is how her hair turned out, it was kinda poofy but she loved it!

last saturday kamree raced her 1st race ever and did awesome! She got a 1st place trophy....she was the only one in her age group.....but she still did really well and is excited to race in price next month.

While we were at the 4 corners race in Huntington, we decided to go swimming at the lake that was right by the track! It was a nice way to cool off after sitting in the hot sun all day.

like a dummy I forgot to pack swimming suits knowing that we would be by a lake. so the kids had to swim in their clothes. I just stuck my feet in the water and dennis used his sleeping shorts.

Kenyon was freezing after about 20 minutes and wanted out of the water but got back in several times after he soaked his towell.

a few weeks ago we took the kids to the blanding city swimming pool, and we had a blast. They loved the kid slides that they could go on, and all the fun things to do. They had so much fun they didn't want to leave when it was time to go 3 hours later.

The main objective in this room was to get rid of this fire place, and get new carpet!

9 years ago today Dennis and I were married! We have had 3 beautiful Kids, Gone through a few cars, lost loved ones, and gained new ones, Bought a home, and had our ups and downs but through it all we have made some amazing memories. she spent a good five minutes looking threw the tree and she was starting to get frustrated so she climb up on the coffee table to look up higher and found a small box hidden at the top of the tree.

She quickly unwrapped it to find an Ipod in the box!!!! The one and only thing that she really wanted.

Kamree won the scariest costume at the carnival. So I had to take a picture of her being scary as she put it. She was so super excited that she won.

they had a ton of fun this year. they got to dress up twice. But they didn't get to go trick or treating until Saturday. They have a ton of candy and have been diving me nuts to eat it.

Soccer 2010

Here is Kenyon playing soccer. This was his 1st year that he could play so he was super excited. He enjoyed every minute of playing and was sad when he reached his last game. Mom and Dad were not to sad to have soccer come to an end....the weather got colder with every game.

Kenyon is so funny to watch he has so many expressions on his face when he plays.

Day 8- my short term goals for this month...and why?

Hmm. Since today is the last day of the month, I think I will start on my goals tomorrow .

1) Be the sweetest person I've ever been. Why: Why not?
2) Keep exercising and riding the stationary bike. Why? so that my knee will hopefully heal and feel better...and so I can feel better about myself and lose a little weight.
3) make sure the people I love are aware that I love them. Why: because they should always be aware, shouldn't they?
4) Get all my Christmas project finished. Why? so I will stop stressing myself out.
5) Keep up with the laundry and house work. Why? because I am a slacker lately, and it something I should do on a daily basis.

I have been to Disneyland 3 or 4 times and had a blast......so much to do see and experience as a kid! I would love to take my kids there someday. I know they would love it & I have not been since the have added the California adventure part of it. I think its time to plan a trip!!!!

The after Picture.................she copped it clear to her chin. I was furious when I saw what she had done. But I know that its only hair and it will grow back. I took her out to Grandma's to see what she could do with it. Grandma cut off a ton of hair considering it was in the middle of her back. I was sad to see her long hair go there were so many fun things to do with it, but I am sure I can find some fun things to do with it short too.

Kolbie Turns 3!

Kolbie truned 3 on October 3rd! We had a family party at the park. It was kinda cold so we hurried through everything. Kolbie loved opening all of his gifts and his snowman cake.

Trip 2 St. George

Well this trip to St. George was a bit of an adventure for us. We ended up having to take a detour on the way over because I-70 was closed just after Richfield. Because of a fire on Beaver Mountain. So we ended up going down to Pangutch and back across to I-15. It really didn't add much time to our trip. By the time we got to my parents house we were all sick of being in the truck. The rest of the week was spent having a good time we went to the rodeo 2 nights in a row. Kolbie and grandpa got to ride a horse before the rodeo on Thursday. That made Kolbie's whole day! Saturday was an adventure in its self for Kenyon. He got to drive a garbage truck, a roll over truck, a fork left, and anything else my uncle would let him. ( he owns DIXIE WASTE in st. George) Kenyon loved every minute of it. Later that day we went to the hour and 20 minute long parade.( and I am not joking about that either) Kids got lots of sugar. Sunday we drove home. Well I think that is our tip in a nut shell. Here are the pictures from our tip. Enjoy!!

Labor day Camping Trip

We went camping at Dalton Springs camp ground for labor day weekend with Mandy, Tim & Skyler. It was fun just being able to get away and enjoy the outdoors and relax. Here are some of the pictures form the weekend.

Come to find out that some people have been feeding her for 5 years. And if you put a cracker in your mouth she will come up to you and eat it out of your mouth.

Kamree already to start 2nd grade! She was super excited to see all of her friends again. She was a little nervous about her teacher, but she loves her so far!

For my birthday Dennis bought us tickets to go see Charley Jenkins and Aaron Tippin. It was a blast to be able to go and enjoy our selves at the concert with NO KIDS. After the concert we went and got our picture taken with charley Jenkins and his autograph. The line for Aaron Tippin was way to long to stand in so we left.

Joe's Valley

We went to joes's valley for the Meadows family reunion. It was great to see everyone. While we were there my famliy go a chance to go out on Jeremy & Staci's boat. Kamree and Kolbie even rode in the CrAy 8! IT was a great week with lots of food and family!

Air Force Museum

While we were in Salt Lake we went to the air force museum. The kids had a blast seeing all the different planes. I took pictures of everything. These are just a few from the trip.

this is the huge air plane they had out side the main doors. We are standing under neath it in the picture above this one. The tires were as tall as me if not taller.

Kamree thought is was cool to look up inside the planes and see where the wheels go after they leave the ground.

We thought that the eagle on the side of this one was cool.

They had a kids center that the kids could go in and learn about flying and sit in some planes and they even had a simulator. Kamree thought it was pretty fun learning how to fly it.

They had some evacuation seats that you could sit in. the kids didn't know what to think about being stuck in them to get ejected from the plane, but I got them all to sit in it for a picture!

Looking into one of the big planes that people jump out of.......

It was fun to see how the planes have evolved from from the 1st one to the ones we have now, and to learn about the planes.

Lagoon

We went to Lagoon last weekend with Denise, Steve, Jeremy, Breckyn, Ashley, & Charlei and had so much fun. Kolbie went on every ride that he was tall enough for and loved it. Kenyon went on the Bat for the 1st time....he yelled this is a crazy ride the whole time but loved it and wanted to go again. Kamree loves roller coasters.......she went on Wicked for the 1st time and sucked in the bar that holds you in to tight.....she was trying to hyperventilate when the ride stopped. Here are the few pictures I took before we started having so much fun that I forgot to take pictures....

We signed Kamree up for coach pitch softball this year. She is having a blast. She has improved so much already on her batting and is getting better at catching the ball. Her team plays against Dove Creek 4 times this season. They got their butts kick the 1st time they played. But the last game the did awesome. They had improved a ton and actually lost by 2 or 3 runs rather then 15. They play in Dove Creek again on Wednesday at 5:30 for anyone who would like to come!

Trip to St. George

On the 23rd of May we headed off to St. George for my brothers graduation from Pine View High School. We stopped at Glen Canyon Dam along the way to let the kids out to stretch their legs for a few and we were not in any big hurry. The kids thought it was cool to see all the water.

They were fine on the bridge until a semi truck came across it and they could feel it. Then they were in a hurry to get off the bridge.

When we got to st. george the kids were off to play and have fun. They are always on the go while we are there, and never want to go anywhere with us. They always have to ride with Grandma and Grandpa.

Dennis and I even managed to sneak away for the night while we were there. We went to Mesquite and had dinner and went to a movie. It was SO nice to have a break from the kids. Thanks Mom and Dad for watching them for us. We will have to have another " DATE" when we come to visit sometime.

New Patio!

We decided that we needed to do something with our front yard. It looked sad. So we put in a paver stone patio. I even got a flower box!!! It turn out great.

Dennis got his father's day present early ( THE GRILL ). So we can enjoy the patio even more!!!! He has even used it twice since we got it!

We also bought some grass seed. we are hoping that we can get some grass to grow! Now all we need to do it get the sandbox done and get the grass seed on the lawn.

My Uncle Arland has faced some really hard medical challenges in the past few years, and they still don't know what is causing all of the problems. He wants to go to Europe to get tests and treatments, but his insurance won't cover it. He has a website where you can read his story and donate . (http://www.azmedfund.com/layout/index.php) Hopefully they can find out the cause behind all his pain and disease he is suffering from. If anyone could make a donation would be greatly appreciated. All he is asking for is a few dollars.

Meet HOMER

This is Kenyon and Kolbie's idea of a fort. they took the crib matrices and put it in between the bed and their dresser and used blankets to cover it. Kolbie wouldn't lay down for a nap unless he could sleep in it.

Moki Camping Trip

Easter Morning

Easter morning was fun this year. Kolbie was so funny he would run around in circles looking for eggs. When he finally found one he jumped up and down. When they finally found all their eggs they sat down and went through their baskets.

Bathroom Re-vamp

For those of you who have scene our master bathroom you know that it had some ugly flowery wall paper . Well we got rid of it for good. I found a fun new shower curtain at walmart that we both like and then went from there!

This is our shower curtain that we bought and then choose our colors to repaint the bathroom. We choose to paint the walls a brown color and do the trim in black. I did the shutters by the window and the trim around the mirror red.

This is the self that Dennis made me to put my hair dryer and curling irons in!!! Love it!!

this is the towel rack that Dennis made to go in the bathroom. I think it turned out cool.

this is our cabinet under the sink. We had to do something with it because it would not have matched the bathroom. so we repainted it too. I love how the whole bathroom turned out!! Thanks for all your help honey.

Dennis has all of this racing Memorabilia that I could not figure out what to do with. While I was cleaning my room a couple days ago I found a picture that Uncle Mike had given Dennis a while back & I had no idea what to do with, til now. At the end of my hall way a put up a self and didn't know what to put there ..... well I figured it out. I put the picture Dennis got from Uncle Mike on the wall above it. Then put the picture of Dad ( Kim) that Dennis got from him the day we got married on the self with a trophy and a number plate. I thought it was appropriate because Dennis and Kim were ridding buddies. I also found some pictures of them racing together and hung them from the self. I love the way it turned out. Dennis calls it his Dad shrine.....lol. I guess that means he likes it.

Saturday afternoon my Dad calls me and asks to talk to Kamree. she talks for a minute, looks out the window, and then tells Kenyon to talk to Grandpa, and practically throws my cell phone at him. then she runs to the the door, opens it, and takes of running screaming GRANDMA!!!!! In complete shock I go to the door and my family is here! It was the best valentines day present they could ever give me! I was so happy to see all of them! We spent the rest of the day hanging out and visiting. On sunday we skipped church to go sledding with them. It was a blast. (Don't have any pictures of sledding but I will get some from my mom. ) After sledding we went to sarah and Fritz's house for dinner and played games. On Monday they spent the morning with us and had to go home :( ....but I was glad they came over to see us.....especially since they were not going to be here for 2 more weeks....

Weekend in Delta

we went to delta over the weekend for Grandpa Hoggards surprise 80th birthday party. He was very surprised and it was very nice to see all the family that came. We had a lot of fun. Dennis and Grandpa spent alot of time out in the shop building together. They built me a really cool shelf to go in my bath room that will hold my curling iron, hair straightener and hair dryer!!! So now I will have more counter space! The kids had fun playing with grandma & grandpas new dog OTIE...and Traci. But the best part was NO SNOW!!!! Sorry I don't have lots of pictures my camera was being dumb.
