Soft ball

We signed Kamree up for coach pitch softball this year. She is having a blast. She has improved so much already on her batting and is getting better at catching the ball.  Her team plays against Dove Creek 4 times this season. They got their butts kick the 1st time they played. But the last game the did awesome. They had improved a ton and actually lost by 2 or 3 runs rather then 15.  They play in Dove Creek again on Wednesday at 5:30 for anyone who would like to come!

We signed Kenyon up for t-ball this summer and he loved it.

This is Kenyon's idea of playing out feild. He would just stand or sit  there and watch the ball go by.   We had to tell him to get up several times at every game.

Trip to St. George

On the 23rd of May we headed off to St. George for my brothers graduation from Pine View High School. We stopped at Glen Canyon Dam along the way to let the kids out to stretch their legs for a few and we were not in any big hurry.  The kids thought it was cool to see all the water.

They were fine on the bridge until a semi truck came across it and they could feel it. Then they were in a hurry to get off the bridge.

When we got to st. george the kids were off to play and have fun.  They are always on the go while we are there, and never want to go anywhere with us. They always have to ride with Grandma and Grandpa.

Here is the graduate!!

after graduation ......Congrats Matthew we are proud of you!

Dennis and I even managed to sneak away for the night while we were there.  We went to Mesquite and had dinner and went to a  movie. It was SO nice to have a break from the kids. Thanks Mom and Dad for watching them for us.  We will have to have another " DATE" when we come to visit sometime.

New Patio!

We decided that we needed to do something with our front yard. It looked sad. So we put in a paver stone patio. I even got a flower box!!!  It turn out great.

Dennis got his father's day present early ( THE GRILL ). So we can enjoy the patio even more!!!!  He has even used it twice since we got it!

We also bought some grass seed. we are hoping that we can get some grass to grow! Now all we need to do it get the sandbox done and get the grass seed on the lawn.

My Uncle Arland has faced some really hard medical challenges in the past few years, and they still don't know what is causing all of the problems. He wants to go to Europe to get tests and treatments, but his insurance won't cover it. He has a website where you can read his story and donate . Meet HOMER

This is the newest member of our family.....his name is HOMER...... He is the exact same kind of dog as Mr. Higgens.....Half PUG and Half  BOSTON TERRIER. He is also brindle like Higgens too. He is 12 weeks old and full of energy.

Fort Hoggard

This is Kenyon and Kolbie's idea of a fort. they took the crib matrices  and put it in between the bed and their dresser and used blankets to cover it.  Kolbie wouldn't lay down for a nap unless he could sleep in it.

Moki Camping Trip

Over the weekend we wen to Moki Canyon to camp & get away for the weekend. It was loads of fun.  Here are some of the pictures from the weekend.
