Trip 2 St. George

Well this trip to St. George was a bit of an adventure for us. We ended up having to take a detour on the way over because I-70 was closed just after Richfield. Because of a fire on Beaver Mountain. So we ended up going down to Pangutch and back across to I-15. It really didn't add much time to our trip. By the time we got to my parents house we were all sick of being in the truck. The rest of the week was spent having a good time we went to the rodeo 2 nights in a row. Kolbie and grandpa got to ride a horse before the rodeo on Thursday. That made Kolbie's whole day! Saturday was an adventure in its self for Kenyon. He got to drive a garbage truck, a roll over truck, a fork left, and anything else my uncle would let him. ( he owns DIXIE WASTE in st. George) Kenyon loved every minute of it. Later that day we went to the hour and 20 minute long parade.( and I am not joking about that either)  Kids got lots of sugar.  Sunday we drove home. Well I think that is our tip in a nut shell. Here are the pictures from our tip. Enjoy!!
This was on the way to St. George the smoke was so thick that the sun was red. This picture doesn't do it justice.

this is the exit we had to take for our detour.....

This was Tyler's way of entertaining the kids until it was time to go to the rodeo!

 YEEEHAAAAW

Kolbie was so excited to ride a horse that he made us go buy him a cowboy hat. He sure does look cute in it.

Kamree and Kenyon got to go for a ride too!

Kamree and Tyler waiting 4 the rodeo to start!

Kenyon and Kolbie in the Garbage truck.......

Watch out Grandpa is behind the wheel........

Yes Kenyon is the one dumping the dumpster in this picture even tho you can't see him. He loved that Uncle Cory let him dump it too!

This is what we had to drive threw on the way home......it was yucky.

After we made it threw all the smoke we saw this water helicopter. the kids thought it was awesome.....and yes I took the picture while driving down the road.....lol

Labor day Camping Trip

We went camping at Dalton Springs camp ground for labor day weekend with Mandy, Tim & Skyler. It was fun just being able to get away and enjoy the outdoors and relax. Here are some of the pictures form the weekend.

There was a deer that was extremely friendly while we were there.......
Come to find out that some people have been feeding her for 5 years. And if you put a cracker in your mouth she will come up to you and eat it out of your mouth.
Mandy had to give it a try.........
