Our Tip to St. George

Thursday night we all went to the rodeo & it was a hoot! Once the horse came out of the shoot Kolbie was glued and would not sit down and he would tell everyone horsey the whole time. Kenyon loved the bulls. I think that was his favorite part of the night. Kamree liked the clowns, and thought they were crazy to hide in barrels with bull was running into them. All 3 kids were very into it. Dennis and I enjoyed every minute of watching the kids and there reactions!

Friday night we went to Cedar for Matthew's football game.After getting lost looking for the school, I am glad to say we made it to the game! It was a nail biter!! They won the game 28 to 26. Dennis and I wanted to make sure that matthew knew we were there so we were extra load. ( I had a sore throat the next day from all the yelling). I didn't get any pictures though cause I was to into watching the game.

We went to the parade Saturday. It had about 100 entries, only some of the entries were throwing candy. But my kids loved it. Kolbie really like to watch all the HORSES go by. Later that night Dennis and I got to go to dinner @ olive garden while my brother watched the boys. Kamree went back to the rodeo with my parents.
But I have to say one of the highlights of my weekend was playing hopscotch with Kamree, Kenyon & my mom. We played out in my mom's driveway for about an hour. We we even learned how to jump through the squares in new fun ways ( as Kamree puts it) & I think she was making up rules as we went a long too!

Were going on a trip.......

we are headed to sunny St. George for a few days!!! We have lots planed while we are there.


We are going to one of Matthew's football games on friday night in Ceadar City.

On Thursday night we are going to the rodeo!!! The kids had a blast at the one here so we decided to take them to this one when we found out it was going to be in St. George the same weekend we were. We will also get to go to the parade before the rodeo.

and I am sure with will find more fun things to do as well!

Freedom

Never forget the many that have sacrificed for our freedom!I am truly thankful to all those that have sacrificed and continue to sacrifice their lives and time from their families so that I can have MY freedom. I don't think there is any way to express my gratitude. I want to personally thank my uncle Bill for all that he has sacrificed for our country. I know that he has been over seas a few times. I am truly grateful for his return safely home to his family every time. My heart swells with pride when I see the flag of the United States of America and all that it represents.I love and support our troops!

Why do we buy toys?

so i have decided that kids can find the simplest things to play with and be happy. For example a cardboard box, in this case a strainer, Why then do we buy all these toys? Who knows. anyways Kolbie found the strainer in the cupbaord and decided it was going to be his hat. He had his "hat" on for over an hour before he found something else to play with. It was halirious to hear him tell the kids it was his hat and don't touch it.

I hope they call me on a mission!

My brother (I shall call him.....Craig) has been called to serve a mission in Atlanta Georgia! He leaves for the MTC on November 4th. His farewell will be October 25th!.
We love you Craig and are very proud of you! Good Luck!

Big Boy Bed.....

Kolbie is now in a toddler bed. He learned how to climb out of the crib so I figured what was the point of still using it, and he might hurt himself climbing out if it. So I took it down and put up his new one. Kolbie was very excited to have a big boy bed. He would not get off it once it was put together. He spent atleast 3 hours sitting/ jumping on it before he found something else to do. The best part is that he sleeps in it at both nap time and bed time!!!!





Now lets see what we can do about potty training him.........
