1st day of school

School is back in session!!! I feel like signing the hallelujah chorus.....but of couse the kids are not as excited as I am. Here are a few pictures I took of them before they left for school.

 Kamree asked me to put curlers in her hair the night before and this is how her hair turned out, it was kinda poofy but she loved it!

The mighty racer

last saturday kamree raced her 1st race ever and did awesome! She got a 1st place trophy....she was the only one in her age group.....but she still did really well and is excited to race in price next month.

At the lake

While we were at the 4 corners race in Huntington, we decided to go swimming at the lake that was right by the track! It was a nice way to cool off after sitting in the hot sun all day.

 like a dummy I forgot to pack swimming suits knowing that we would be by a lake. so the kids had to swim in their clothes. I just stuck my feet in the water and dennis used his sleeping shorts.

 Kenyon was freezing after about 20 minutes and wanted out of the water but got back in several times after he soaked his towell.

we were camping out at the track when Kenyon found this lizards. Can you tell he is all boy. he loves to catch bugs and lizard's.

swimming!!

a few weeks ago we took the kids to the blanding city swimming pool, and we had a blast. They loved the kid slides that they could go on, and all the fun things to do. They had so much fun they didn't want to leave when it was time to go 3 hours later.
